MY FAVOURITE SILVER SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER!

Being naturally dark brunette, it took me quite a while to get to how blonde I am right now. I tend to get my hair dyed every 8 weeks, just getting more toner added to my ends and also a little of my roots bleached and toned too. However, between hair appointments my hair gets more and more dull as the weeks pass and it starts to look a bit brassy and yellow. I've purchased a few different silver shampoos mainly from places like Bodycare or Superdrug but unfortunately the ones I have tried have only made my hair even more dry and matted without changing my actual hair colour, which is the last thing I need considering my hair is already dead having bleached the hell out of it!
I was sitting in the hairdressers one day with my foils in (feeling attractive af) and I just so happened to have mentioned to my hairdresser about the silver shampoos I have bought that failed massively. I was then recommended to buy the silver shampoo and conditioner set that they sell in store. If I'm being totally honest, I was a bit sceptical because I always thought hairdressers just sold you products for double the price to which half of them don't even work, but nonetheless I had a bit of extra money with me so I thought I'd give it a try (I also find it really hard to say no).
I was told to use this shampoo and conditioner preferably no more than once a week or just whenever I felt like my hair was going brassy. My hairdresser also told me to leave the shampoo in for about 10 minutes to really see a big change, which will be turning the brassy tones into silver/purple tones.
For all of you fake blondies out there, I thought this post might help you out a lot considering it took me a while to find the perfect toning shampoo and conditioner and I wish I had someone do the research for me! I'll be posting before and after pictures of how the products worked on my hair and a direct link on where to buy the set! xoxo
WHAT I USE...

This toning shampoo and conditioner set is from Fudge. I bought this set at my hairdressers for around £20 however it's a bit cheaper on this website here. Not only does this set work wonders on brassy hair, it also smells soooooo good!
I do have to warn you though is that it might stain your skin a little depending on how long you leave it on your skin for. As I was shampooing my hair, my hands did come off a little bit more purple than normal but after I washed my hands a few times it came right off. Although I was told that it had to be kept on for at least 10 minutes, you can still notice slight changes in your hair even if you wash it off straight away after shampooing (obviously just not as much). I've also kept the shampoo on for around 20-25 minutes as I wanted to see what the turnout would be. I did notice that my hair ended up not as bright and blonde, but was more grey/purple, however it still looked really nice and it was a change for a few days!
Although it's the shampoo that does all of the toning, the conditioner is AMAZING. As toning shampoos tend to leave your hair dry and matted, using this conditioner leaves your hair feeling like silk. I love it so much that I even use it after shampooing my hair with everyday shampoo sometimes (don't know if you're supposed to but oh well...)
Worth the Price?
definitely!!
Would I Recommend? 100%. It's a life saver!
BEFORE USING...

This picture was my hair without using the shampoo/conditioner for 3 weeks. As you can see there are a lot of yellow/brassy tones to my hair and it was looking pretty lifeless...
AFTER USING...

The difference is CRAZY!! I applied this shampoo/conditioner today for these pics and I was running a bit late for work (usual) so the shampoo was only kept on for less than 10 minutes yet I still got amazing results!
(Also please excuse my terribly bad roots I'm actually going back to my natural colour next week) .....
So I hope I've helped some of you who are struggling to find a decent silver shampoo/conditioner without the need of getting top ups at the hairdressers every 4 weeks! I haven't been to the hairdressers in over 10 weeks (bad I know) yet my hair still looks new after using this toning set from Fudge!! Such an amazing buy, affordable and lasts a long time too!
