MY "GETTING READY" SET UP!

I don't know about anyone else but I seem to find makeup organisation videos on Youtube sooooo satisfying to watch, to the point where I am going through every single one I come across (filled with severe jealousy). Mainly because I get such a thrill watching how organised and tidy everything is, which makes me sound like such a weirdo but I know I'm not alone!

I recently reorganised my own set up and after getting the final item in place, I love it and I actually don't dread getting ready for a night out anymore which I used to HATEEEE.

This isn't necessarily a makeup organisation blog because I don't have any more makeup than the average girl but I've been getting a lot of questions on my Depop page where I got certain things from and I thought it would be a good opportunity to create a blog about it all.

MAKEUP BRUSH HOLDERS

Firstly, I'm going to talk about my makeup brush holders. Truthfully speaking, these are toothbrush holders from Home Bargains hahaha! I doubt they'll still have them in stock because I got them about 2 years ago but they might have something similar, if not then look for other toothbrush holders from different stores and some might work for you :)

I bought two; one for my face brushes and the other for my eye brushes.

(please excuse my dirty AF makeup brushes... probably should have cleaned them before I took this picture, oops!)

EYESHADOW PALETTE HOLDER

Thanks to Youtube, I now organise my eyeshadow palettes so that they are easy to reach for and so they're all on show... a letter rack/organiser! I would never have thought of these before but I'm so glad I found out about them. Not only are they useful but they're also very neat looking!

SMALL DOUBLE SIDED MIRROR

I actually got this mirror about a year ago as a Christmas present. Unfortunately I dropped it so the light no longer works but I still love it! I sit it at the side of my desk so I can see the back of my head through my mirrored wardrobes (if that makes sense) so it's perfect when I'm doing my hair! One side is just a normal mirror and the other side is magnified so its great for doing things like eyeliner or tidying your brows.

They no longer have this exact mirror in stock but I've added a similar one (click picture for link).

ACRYLIC MAKEUP ORGANISERS

I'm sure most of you already will have some kind of acrylic organiser by now, they're soooo popular and for good reason! I just think they look really pretty and the fact you can see your makeup makes finding certain items much easier.

I actually have 4 separate ones but they are easily stacked (see below).

This organiser is from the brand Beautify which I got from Ebay. The very top drawer is actually fake and has a lid instead. All middle drawers are the same size but the bottom drawer is bigger in height (which I love).

Such a sturdy and well made organiser considering its really cheap price (link on pic).

These narrow drawers are from Muji (2x 2 drawer set). Unfortunately these are no longer on their website but there are plenty of dupes on Ebay/Amazon. The lipstick holder is from Ebay (link in either pics)

ILLUMINATED HOLLYWOOD MIRROR

Lastly, my mirror. I personally really like the style of Hollywood mirrors because they look professional and classy. The bulbs really help illuminate your face and make applying makeup so much more effortless and easy. This is my recent purchase and I'm in LOVEEEEE!
