I was originally just going to write a blog on my all time favourite makeup products, both high end and drugstore but because I don't want you all getting bored because the blog is too long, I chose to do it this way instead. It also helps people read these if they only prefer either high end or drugstore so yeah...
Anyway here's a number of products I've been loving recently and will definitely be purchasing again, along with my own photos, a little bit about them and a little review for each, enjoy xoxo

Scroll down to read about these products in more detail :)
Foundation: MAC Studio Fix Fluid
This is my first foundation by MAC and it definitely won't be the last. I like a full coverage foundation because I feel like I don't have to worry sweating it off (ew but true) and having patchiness from where there is no more foundation and this product helps stop that really well! I understand why a lot of people don't like full coverage foundations because they can feel quite heavy or are bad for their skin, but I just don't feel fully comfortable wearing a light coverage foundation unless my skin is really clear.
This foundation has SPF 15 so it's perfect for wearing on holiday (again, if you're OK with full coverage) however, I wouldn't wear it on sunbeds because your face won't tan as quickly as the rest of your body.
This foundation retails for £22.
A lot of people don't actually like this product and I don't get why, but then again every product works and looks differently on everyone so yeah...
There is one thing I want to mention about this product that might put people off buying it, but it is something I would have liked to know if I hadn't bought it before. The smell. Honestly, the smell is quite strong and I would describe it as a "chemical" sort of smell if that makes sense. It doesn't put me off the foundation at all because I really like how it sits on my skin but I do understand why some people wouldn't buy it because of this.
Another thing about the foundation is that it doesn't have a pump, however there are a few ways to apply it on your face successfully:
1. Put a cotton bud in the bottle, pick up some products then apply dots on your face where needs be before blending it in (this is what I do and it works really well).
2. Pour some product onto a palette.
3. Buy a bottle pump (I believe you can buy them from Ebay and/or Amazon.)

But yeah, this foundation is sooooo good and I don't think I'll ever look back. If you're wondering, my foundation is in the shade NW18.
Concealers: Urban Decay Naked Skin
I recently just bought these concealers from Urban Decay and I've fallen in love already! I only have two at the moment: 1 from the colour correcting range and 1 regular concealer. The colour I chose from the colour correcting range is the yellow one. Reason being is that the yellow helps hide purple pigmentation on your face, which I have a bit of under my eyes/the inner corner of my eyes. It is a medium to full coverage concealer however it's buildable so you can make it completely full coverage if you like. I apply this after I've primed my face then apply my foundation then apply the second UD concealer I have. I got that concealer in a shade or two lighter than my skin tone. This is because I only apply it to certain parts of my face I want to brighten and illuminate (under my eyes, lower centre of forehead, centre of chin and cupids bow). Afterwards, I then set my face where I applied this concealer with powder. This helps set the concealer and to make it stay on my face all day.
These retail for £17.50 each.

These concealers are seriously so amazing and I can't wait to get the other colours from the colour correcting range too (when I can actually afford them that is...)
Benefit Porefessional Face Primer
I don't know about you, but truthfully speaking I know exactly how Regina George felt when she said, "my pours are huge!"
Before I came across this primer, literally none that I tried helped minimise my pours but this product works miracles. When I apply it and put on my makeup it looks like my skin doesn't even know what pours are!
There are a lot of things I loveeee about this primer and I feel like they should be mentioned. First thing is that it'd oil free. THANK GOD. I have oily skin and again, every primer I tried really emphasised that and got worse throughout the day and I had to keep putting on face powder to prevent it. Luckily, this has no oil so it works really well with my skin! Another good thing about this product is that its very lightweight to the point where it doesn't even feel like you have any on. Also, you need the TINIEST amount. And anyway, considering the price (£24.50) for such a small tube, you'd want to use as little as possible anyway haha!

This truly is such an amazing primer and now I completely understand the massive hype (I underestimated it at first). This will literally work for everyone, oily skin or not because it's also not a drying primer. Will recommend this to ANYONE!
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
THE HOLY GRAIL. This bronzer is EVERYTHING! Out of all of my high end buys, this has to be the best in my opinion. The Chocolate Soleil is a fully matte bronzer which comes in 3 shades: Milk Chocolate Soleil, Chocolate Solei (the original) and Dark Chocolate Soleil. These retail for £25 and are worth every penny.
This bronzer applies beautifully and glides on and is easily blended out depending on the look you're going for. I only have the original Chocolate Soleil bronzer and I don't know about the rest of them, but this one has the perfect shade for both bronzing the face and contouring, as it has a grey undertone but its not overpowering so you can't use it to just simply bronze your face at all. Another good thing about this bronzer is the smell. OMG it literally smells just like chocolate! Although the smell of a product doesn't affect how to product applies or looks, it certainly makes you want to buy it more (or it did with me anyway). Also, the packaging is sooooo cute, along with the rest of Too Faced products.

I personally think this bronzer tops any one out there on the market that I've tried so far, EVEN the Benefit Hoola Bronzer so it's definitely worth the splurge!
MAC Soft And Gentle Highlighter
Okay so if you haven't heard of this highlighter before then you must live under a rock... It's EVERYWHERE. Literally the majority of people I know own this highlighter and every beauty Youtuber I've watched has this and raves about it and for good reason! This is one of my favourite highlighters of all time and I'm the biggest hoarder when it comes to buying them. It gives you such an amazing peachy gold glow and it stays on for ages. It's already pigmented enough on it's own but if you want to be glowing to the gods then apply it with MAC Fix+ on your brush and it'll look even better. I know Mac have more highlighters but this is my only one so far but if the rest are like this then I'm going to have to buy more, even though I shouldn't.

The pictures really don't do this justice and from watching YouTube tutorials, it also suits a wide range of skin tones which is always a good thing! This retails for £24 :)
MAC FIX+
I feel like everyone should have this in their makeup collection, whether it's big or small. When I first bought this, I thought it's only purpose was to set your makeup but it turns out there are a lot of other things you can do with it!
This retails for £17.50.
As a setting spray, it's good, but I feel like there are others that are cheaper that are just as good or more highend ones that are better (Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray). I mean it does its job but doesn't keep your makeup on for the full day. However a good thing about this spray is that it makes your eyeshadows so much more intense and pigmented! Just simply spray some onto your brush before applying and it makes applying eyeshadows so much easier and quicker, along with the colour pay off being 100x better! I didn't know of this until beauty gurus on Youtube started talking about it and doing it in their tutorials but I'm so grateful they did! One more thing about this product is that it can be used as a hydrating spray. One of my favourite Youtubers, Holly Boon mentioned this and its so true! After moisturising I spray my whole face with Fix+ and it feels sooo refreshed and soft.

As you can see in this pic, I've used about half of this and I'm still no where near finishing it. It lasts for agessss. Definitely a must have!
BOBBI BROWN BLUSHER IN THE SHADE "PLUM"
I recently got this from Jenners in Edinburgh and I'm so gutted that there isn't a Bobby Brown stand anywhere in Dundee. This blusher is STUNNING. These blushes retail for £19.50 and although that may seem expensive for such a small product, you honestly need the tiniest amount. I'm always careful when I apply blushers because I like to build mines up, so I always use small amounts at a time but I was so shocked with how pigmented this blusher is. I'm not sure about the rest of the shades but for this particular one you only have to lightly put the brush onto the product and its the perfect amount.

I know Bobbi Brown is expensive and I always tried to avoid the brand but after buying this I'm so intrigued about the rest of the products they have to offer and if they'll be to this high of quality or not!
ESTEE LAUDER SIGNATURE SILKY POWDER BLUSH IN SHADE "02- PINK KISS"
Truthfully, I never really thought to buy an Estee Lauder blusher. The only other Estee Lauder product I own is the Double Wear Foundation which I don't really think much of (weird I know because everyone seems to love it) so I just expected the rest of their stuff to be the same for me. This was actually my mums blusher and she never reached for it so when I was raking through her makeup she said I can keep it and it's actually so nice! Its such a creamy, blendable blusher and its not too pigmented, which I think is a good thing so you can easily build it up. It has the tiniest bit of shimmer in it which I don't mind because you can hardly tell. The only downfall for me personally is the brush that came with it. I don't think its right for applying blusher at all but I've kept it and now use it to contour my nose (that's how flat and small it is). This annoys me because the space where the brush is supposed to be kept could have been used for more product :(
I can't seem to find this product on the Estee Lauder website to give you a price so I'm guessing it's been discontinued but there are similar looking compact blushes including the brush for £29!

In saying that its such an amazing blusher and I'm so glad I came across it otherwise I wouldn't have bought it! Maybe now I'll be interested in buying different shades and see if they live up to it!
URBAN DECAY ALL-NIGHTER MAKEUP SETTING SPRAY
I feel like everyone who has bought this loves this product. I've only ever heard really good things and that's the reason I bought it! This is by far the King of all setting sprays, both high end and drugstore. The difference this makes to your makeups "lifespan" is amazing. If I was to work a full days shift or go out on a night out, this would literally lock my makeup in place and wouldn't budge all night until I took it off. Again, I love the fact that it's an oil free product and works on all skin types. This retails for £22.

Not much else I can say on this product but if and when you do buy it then you'll see exactly what me and millions of other people are talking about!
MAC LIPSTICK IN THE SHADE "MEHR" & GERARD COSMETICS LIPSTICK IN SHADE "DRAGON BERRY"
I thought I'd just put these two lipsticks in the one post because they're in the same category and are fairly small in size.
The MAC lipstick I'll talk about first. Me personally, I really don't suit light pink or light nude colours so I never even look at them because I just look so ridiculous :(.. so when it comes to choosing the perfect nude shade for me, I tend to go for the more dark pink or brown toned lipsticks. "Mehr" is the perfect dark pinky nude! It's one of MAC's more popular lipsticks because I've heard a lot of good things from watching a lot of Youtube videos. It's a matte lipstick but it's not drying on the lips and it's so creamy! I also have the lip pencil in "Soar" which matches perfectly, however they aren't my favourite lip pencils because they're quite hard to work with and hurt my lips when I apply them because I never seen so get much product if I apply them with a light hand. In saying that, "Mehr" is one of my favourite lip products and I'll definitely be buying again considering they're only £15.50 (which I think is totally worth it if its great quality!)
The other lipstick I'll be talking about is "Dragon Berry" by Gerard Cosmetics. Truthfully speaking, when I purchased this I was expecting it to be matte - clearly wasn't paying attention to the description online! Once it arrived, I was so annoyed that it wasn't because I never really thought much of satin finish lipsticks. However I've recently started to pick it up more and it's now a favourite of mine! It's such a lovely berry shade with a sort of purple undertone. Especially now that its Winter time, I'm glad I now have a satin lipstick because I don't think my lips would survive through the winter wearing matte lip products all the time! Like I said, I'm starting to wear it more in Winter because its sooo moisturising and it feels like I'm wearing something like Vaseline, but it just looks a lot prettier. Retails for £15.26 (weird number I know). Surprisingly really impressed with this product!

Swatch on the left is "Mehr" and swatch on the right is "Dragon Berry".
KYLIE COSMETICS LIPKITS IN SHADES "KIRSTEN", "POSIE K" AND "22"
Being a massive fan of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and all of the other spin off series, I was so excited when Kylie started bringing out her own makeup products. I am so impressed with the lip crayons in her lip kits - soooo creamy and they just glide on your lips and the liquid lipsticks are soooo pigmented that you only need one coat. Every liquid lipstick of hers has a vanilla/cake smell which I enjoy, however its quite strong which may put people off. One thing I'll mention about these products is that they aren't buildable lipsticks, but in saying that most liquid lipsticks aren't because they'll just crumble.
The only product of hers I'm disappointed in is the shade "Kourt K". I did purchase this too and had to get rid of it. I'm not sure if other people have the same problem as I did, but it's the most patchy, uneven liquid lipstick I've ever used and I was soooooo annoyed because it wasn't cheap, especially with the £15 shipping cost and the £12.90 charge I got on top of that for import tax :(... I'm no makeup chemist but I've heard that it can be quite difficult to create a dark liquid lipstick without it being slightly patchy, which is heart breaking because I really like her newer darker shades but don't want to risk paying the price if I'm going to be disappointed again!
Apart from that I'm still loving the other lip kits I have and will keep continuing to use them and maybe even buy more shades in the future.

Top left swatch is "Posie K", top right is shade "22" and bottom swatch is "Kristen".
Thanks for reading!
